Top 3 speeches on the search marketing expo (SMX) in Stockholm

I participated the search marketing expo in Stockholm 28 & 29 September. We were told a lot about keyword research, onpage optimisation, technical issues and also my favourite, link building. We were told to give feedback about the expo by filling in a form there, with an oldschool pen, by hand(!), in the most developed internet country in the world! I feel that I have to give you some feedback online also, we can’t leave it like this. So here comes a toplist of the top 3 speeches on the expo, as I see it:

1. Mediadonis (Marcus Tandler) speech on the Advanced link building session. He had the most awesome sound effects ever; “and when I removed that link, BOOOOM, the website was number one again for that keyword”.
2. Joinsimons (Simon Sundén) speech on the same session, about link baits. He told us toplists were good. And rather top 3 than top 4. But best was top 10. But I can’t remember TEN speeches from the expo. So I have to go for three.. :)
3. The “Seo Check up”, the last speech on the expo. It was basically a “find as much fails as possible in these three websites”-session. I must admit that it was like watching a fun show on the TV. Laughs all the time, who said SEO cant be fun? Marcus Tandlers last comment before he left early for the plane, when he could not be there for commenting on the last website was legendary; “DUDE be happy! .. I have to leave for the flight!”. Do I have to say that he was quite hard and honest in his judgement of the presented sites? :)

It was a very entertaining expo, and I hope that I can attend it also next year.
