WordPress site for Black smoke racing

My friends friend is driving an old mercedes, spiced up to almost a thousand horsepower. And he is using it for competing in drift competitions. But worst of all, he is actually winning the new Toyotas and Nissans that’s also in that business! My friends Joni and Patti (Green Pepper Productions) makes a lot of videos with the car and the driver Teemu Peltola, and their Youtube channel Black smoke tube is getting a lot of views. We all thought that it would be stupid not to have a website. So I made a wordpress theme together with them, according to their wishes, and published the website Blacksmokeracing.com. Read more

Freeboats became Comboboats

August 16, 2010

The company Freeboats changed their name to comboboats and needed a more fresh website for their launch of their new boat, the Combo 38. Combo 38 is a fully equipped catamaran houseboat that you can own instead of a summer cabin. You can stay aboard for a long time, and with the two 175hp motors you can drive it in 25 knots! Now it is also C-classed, so you are allowed to drive it on the open sea.

Dynamic webproject, users produce the content

At genero we are now working with an interesting project. I can’t drop the sitename or the customer yet, but what we are doing is a website where users themselves produces valuable content for other users. This is made by letting users submit idéas and comment and vote on other peoples ideas.

We are building the site in Drupal, with the modules CKK and Views. The functions are soon ready, the AD has made a nice-looking appearance for the site, I have still to make the template for the site and implement it with the functions. This is kind of challenging because I have not been working that much with Drupal yet, I do mostly WordPress. We will launch the site in the end of the summer, I have a good feeling about this project, just wait for it!
